A 501c3 nonprofit organization, KGMA has been presenting world-class classical music concerts in the intimate setting of our historic farm house for the past 10 years. Concerts at the farm are up-close and personal! Our chamber music room houses an antique baby grand Mason & Hamlin piano, and space for around 45 concert-goers. This is how chamber-music is meant to be heard!
Our resident musicians visit us from all around the world and have held positions in such organizations as the Vancouver Symphony, Cavani String Quartet, Houston Symphony, and both at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and the University of Oklahoma, with degrees from Juilliard, Yale, Rice University, CIM, and Peabody Institute. Kalmia Garden at Gastler Farm is a dream, I would recommend this venue a thousand times over!!
My husband and I had always envisioned an outdoor wedding that was charming, natural and intimate - yet spacious enough for our ideal guest list (125). The property is endlessly stunning with beautiful gardens, grass lawn space, a handmade stone wall (where we had our ceremony), a super cute gazebo (where we served cocktail hour), an arboretum (that provided a perfect setting for photos) and plenty of parking. The team at Kalmia Garden was wonderful to work with and was generously flexible with how we wanted to personalize the wedding set up, decorations and flow of the day. My husband and I had the best time at our wedding, and we owe so much of that to Kalmia Garden at Gastler Farm and their team!
